We are delighted to announce that the Bretforton Open Gardens will be taking place on Sunday 4th June 2017.
A wide range of village gardens will be opening although we will not have the Manor taking part this year. From mature cottage gardens to contemporary ones in the process of development with stunning planting schemes, wildlife ponds, raised vegetable beds and painted arbours being among their many features.
This year entries for a scarecrow competition will also be on display around the village and visitors can also take part in a village picture quiz. Delicious homemade cakes and other refreshments will be on sale in the grounds of the historic NT owned Fleece Inn along with a Plant Sale and Tombola. A great day out.
A share of the proceeds from the event will go to the two charities nominated by the club for 2017 - Evesham Volunteer Centre and THRIVE – a charity that uses gardening to change lives.
Bretforton is just under 5 miles east of Evesham on the B4035. Sat. Nav. for The Fleece Inn is WR11 7JE.
Tickets can be purchased from the Bretforton Community Shop, New Street and The Ark Shop, The Cross, Bretforton in advance or on the day - £5 for adults and children go free.
